The International Fashion Sale (IFS) has been a preferred fixture in the fashion calendar for 14 years. From humble beginnings at the Wanderers Club in Illovo it has grown to occupy the Coca-Cola dome in Northgate twice a year; able to hold over 150 retailers and tens of thousands of visitors.
The IFS is the supreme shopping spree event where top designers and retailers trade their end of season stock at absolute rock bottom prices allowing you, the shopper, to stock up your wardrobe with all the classics at a fraction of the average retail price.
Running over 4 days, from Thursday 29 July to Sunday 1 August 2010, 10am – 10pm (Sunday till 8pm) EVERYONE can look important without breaking the bank!
The IFS also wishes to help those who are incapable to enjoy fashion like the rest of us and has partnered with the Princess Project, which offers unwanted dresses from the public and celebrities to under-privileged girls to wear for their matric dances and beyond. We encourage all our visitors to join in this very worthy campaign and to bring any dresses you no longer wear to the IFS where we will have a designated area for collection. You may even be lucky enough to meet ex Miss SA Jo-Ann Strauss, the founder of this great charity.
